Iliomna Lake is the eighth largest in the United States. The Tlingit people of Alaska had legends about a fish god that lived there. A string of modern sightings have really supercharged the folklore of this lake. Some suggest they are nothing more than beluga whales, but those descriptions pale compared to others.
