Can I Be a Senior Generalist?

The size of the company does matter about specialists versus generalists. It's hard for someone to say like I have a lot of experiences, but say I'm a generalist. If you put me in a system and you ask me to own that system for years, I will quit that job. Like this is not how I'm wired. The thing that has always really paid dividends for me is the broadness. And so I think it's another dimension of looking at where I have to make sure I take my own story into account when I'm making these claims.
