Is Iteration Testing a Good Way to Get Things Shipped Early?

Extreme programming was one of the first formal methods to come with the idea of iterations. A lot of the philosophy and the driving e from this was the idea that we want to work in an evolutionary fashion. O so iteration testing being adaptable. The killer problems, problems with waterfall, is you knew much more about how the project should have worked at the end. It just came too late to improve the project.
