AI and the Future of Design
AI computer-generated machine learning stuff has been around for a lot longer than we're willing to admit. I would argue too that it will in some ways simply support the touch point the cornerstone of design systems work and that design systems should handle the boring things right maybe AI should handle those boring things. The risk we see more so with this whole AI discussion is not a designer's job evaporating, says Andrew Keen. It's more so the business side going oh so you're telling me we can save all this time and that means the designers can crank out all this other stuff rather than no no this should buy them back time in their sprints to spend time thinking according to Keen.
