The Challenges of Collective Intelligence Architectures

If there's only 10 of you, then you could all meet up in a room or a cafe somewhere. You would know enough about each person to kind of get a sense of where they're coming from. And so you don't really need any technology in that situation to enable collective intelligence. It's just we're hardwired to do that in small groups. But the problem is when you start to scale that up and once you've got to Dunbar's number - it starts to become difficult to sit down together.
