The Table Doesn't Affect Reality
A thing which I perceive would not be a soap bubble unless it's existence at any given time or logically independent of my perception of it. Unless that is to say from the proposition with regard to a particular time, it never follows that I perceived it at that time. This is the whole table doesn't disappear thing that I was doing when you look away from it. And it's pretty similar to what Kant does, right? Kant is saying, there wouldn't be any experience at all if it weren't for the categories and if it weren’t for us doing our mental work on reality.
