Remote Retroactive Intercessory Prayer in Patients With a Blood Stream Infection
Remote retroactive intercessory prayer was sociated with a shorter stay in hospital and a shorter duration of fever in patients with a blood stream infection. Mortality was lower in the intervention group, but the difference between the groups was not statistically significant. Any given study can be wrong, no matter how well designed it is,. We want to see independent replication by other researchers that nevertheless shows the same results. But at least this study is a data point suggesting that retroactive prayer has real effects.
