Botox and Botulism: The Same Thing
I didn't know botox worked by literally paralyzing your face. That's wild. I kind of always thought that was really just some sort of filler stuff so it didn't really paralyze anything. So the fact that's really actually paralyzing you kind of blowed my mind. And then I also think you can get infant botulism from other places but that was really common so they just advise against it. Like a long time ago. Would have been a no no for a long time. But it's because it's just the bacteria. Usually it probably has not produced the toxin. Yeah.
