The Crisis in the NHS

I was thinking of every single nurse that's in our membership and thinking of what the last number of years has been like for them. I did see politicians arriving and it was quite surreal to listen to what they had to say about the NHS. But when I'm sitting amongst those nurses in the Abbey today, I can't help thinking that whilst today is a wonderful celebration, it should not take away from the fact that the hundreds of thousands that I represent are working under enormous pressure.
