Using Multin Level Models in Linguistics

Linguistic data is often characterized by multiple sources of independence. So the fact that linguistic experiments and linguistics, they needed kind of cross random effects was a strong argument to adapt these multin level models. And basian modelling allows us to do this in a straightforward way. It does also in an intuitive way, which is important for field like linguistics that doesn't really have a limit a institutionalized statistical training.
