Is That a General Trick?
The work that Amos and I did is really not an example of how science is done because it is absolutely linked to a particular topic. When you're studying thinking, you're studying yourself. It's a kind of thinking to which you have access. And that's just not true of most other things. So psychologists have some kind of advantage when they're studying things about which they have intuitions.
