Kidney Stones - What Are the Commonest Types?

The most common type is something called calcium oxalate. That makes up about 80% of all stone types. The uric acid stones are very different because they're radio loosened, which means they don't show up on x-ray. They can also be dissolved and we'll obviously come on to that later. One in three people with diabetes or obesity will have a kidney stone - acassistone.
