The History of the China Consensus
PJ: It's really interesting to kind of think back to the 50s and early 60s of just how strong that consensus was at every level of government. Once you got into the Vietnam war, you saw the cracks being in Rand with Daniel Osberg writing research reports about how to rationalize the Pentagon. I don't know PJ just like as a historian, any kind of reflections on that moment versus today's moment we talk a little earlier about the China consensus.
