Is There a Conspiracy Beyond the Loan Shooter?
There's something unifying about this human belief to, or a human tendency to believe that there has to be something more going on. What is it that drives people to do that? Is it fear? Is it wanting to seem like you're cleverer than anyone else because you've spotted something else? Is it just the fact that chaos and coincidence really terrifies us? Is it the fact th i it might all be true? I mean, all of those things, literally all of them are things we talk about in the book at some point.
