The UK's Growth Path Is Not Going to Jolt the Brits

The countries that are open to the world and open to their trading neighbors do the best. Britain exports more to Ireland than it does to China, right? You know, you trade with the people beside you. That's... it's what geography does to economics. It puts manners on economics. Common sense. So we have a dog in this fight, which is that the UK doing better is better for all of us. But I'm not sure they've got a plan. And the one thing we know is any sort of plan is always better, John, than no plan at all.
