The Shooting of David and Betty Lo

A suspicious vehicle was seen cruising up and down lake herman road, intermittently pulling in and out of the turnout. A late fifties chevrilet in parlar appeared in three independent witness reports - including that of william crow who claimed it had chased him from the turnout just over an hour before david and betty lo were killed. The number of occ pants seen inside varied but all pointed to a black mid-sized car with dark chrome finishes. One witness said he didn't see anyone in or near either vehicle, but described hearing a gunshot once he was a quarter mile down the road. While james owen's statement seemed significant, it wasn't particularly reliable.
