The First Guideline - Don't Say Straightforwardly False Things

In normal social contexts, where few people are attending to or attempting to express precise truth, it's relatively costless to do things like use hyperbole for emphasis. Most of the times that people end up saying straightforwardly false things, they are not intending to lie or deceive. This becomes even more important when you consider that places like Les Rong are cultural crossroads. Users come from a wide variety of cultures and cannot rely on other users sharing the same background assumptions and norms of speech.
