St. Thomas uses strong language in that article. It says, qua si mete foriche, right? As if metaphorically. I think looking at other ways, son, son, and he was speaking of those in grace there to be clear. There is some kind of analogy that anything proceeds from God could be said to be a son in a very loose sense,. Even anything that's created. But then we in particular made in the image of God, there is something particular about us that because we're of an intellectual nature, we contain something of, well, there's a greater likeness.
