David De Koveny Gifted a Hot Beef Rib to My Father at High Speed

I'm not here to defend David de Koveny, but his people are saying that he was understandably overtaken by the mood of the day. It became apparent that this was an idea that had not been thought through at all well. We were all carried along by the festivity. Not many of us shot an innocent man through the eye with a hot beef rib. I can only think of one person in that stadium who didn't do it. And if I had less on my plate, I probably wouldn't have signed it off.
