Are We Living in an Unequal Society?

I think the world is in a very peculiar place at the moment and it's very hard. I believe that a fair society would be a happier one, but happiness is important too. But to find ourselves living in such an unequal society is very distressing. And as somebody with more money than I really need, I should be contributing more. It's not going to just, well, obviously I give to charity, but I'm not going to solve the problem that way. So that's a kind of a very fundamental belief in something being important.
