The Confirmation Bias

The ways that we react or respond to people is driven by very, very limited knowledge that we don't actually know. System one of your brain is what allows you to drive a car without thinking about driving. But System two requires a tremendous amount of energy and it has to be able to process information in a way to gather the facts. The problem with our brains is that System two is a lazy controller because it uses up too much of our energy.
