The Universal Personal Intern
Alexa will transform very quickly and you'll have a conversation, meaning that it remembers what you said this minute ago. It's going to kind of has more continuity. You can get deeper in it. What we're turning into all these things at many levels is what I'm calling the universal personal intern. We're getting interns, these assistants. They are the best use of them.

And so, um, now with, with that, it's going to be embedded into everything. So, uh, you know, by, by the day, you know, Slack, Adobe, you know, Microsoft, Google, they're all like, they're going to put in this little interface, this, this language interface to everything so we can use various levels of smartness and various levels of capabilities, but we're going to have this conversational interface with it so we can describe and, and, um, these words or text or typing and talk to it back and forth. This conversational meaning, which is very important. It's not just that like, so you can't have a conversation with Alexa.

Yeah. Yeah. You try to, you want to and you think it should, but Alexa will, you know, will, will transform very quickly and you'll have a conversation, meaning that you, you know, it remembers what you said this minute ago. Yeah. Right. I mean, it's going to kind of has more continuity. You can get deeper in it. And so that's the, that's the big bang is, is this, um, universal interface. And what we, um, what they're turning into all these things at many levels is what I'm calling the universal personal intern. We're getting interns, these assistants. They are the best use of them. The way that people are winding up using them, whether they're coders, using copilot or whether they're writers, using chat to DT or artists doing image generators with the mid journey and Dolly, what, what you're getting out of it is, is, is, is an intern, someone to work with you. Um, they're really great at the blank page, starting y'all kind of giving, organizing your thinking, doing some research, getting stuff together. And then they're really good also at filling in details, filling in places where we could do it ourselves, but it really takes a lot of work to do it. And they go just generate 10 of them in the instant. So, um, particularly in the, in the, in the, in the, in the, in the, in the, in the, in the way, this synthesis, they're really good at synthesizing things. That's one of the militarize humans can do this.

it's very laborious for us. And they can do it at speed and that's the, the virtues. This, you know, like in between stuff, you know, something that's in between Picasso and Mango a painting that's got both of them or, you know, uh, weird, historical things. What if the Romans hadn't been gunpowder, what, what happened then? So we'd acquire kind of mastering Roman history and history of gunpowder, but they can do that and we could do that, but it would take a PhD to do it. And they're going to just do it in a few seconds. But what they produce is interns work. We still need to make it better. It tends to be kind of nil the road, wisdom the crowd, average human kind of thing, and they need to be pushed and prodded to do something more edu- or distinctive. And in fact, frankly, they need us humans to do something that us. So I need to be involved into making it really me. And to release the interns work as your own is embarrassing because we're going to know this. Yeah. You know, they're just your intern.
