The Infection Stage of Bitcoin

The first 20 years of Bitcoin's life will span the infection stage. In this stage Bitcoin had to prove that it was something someone would trade for money like or pizza. We're right in the middle stages of the speculation many era of this first generation and are very much on track. The next five years will see two more generations having an enormous amount of speculation with a real acceleration toward total market capitalization. At the same time behind the scenes things will be built to set the stage for the next generation which of course brings us to generation two, the infrastructure stage.
