KDKA of the Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Company
KDKA was the first radio station to broadcast presidential election returns. Station launched on November 2, 1920 in a wooden shack at Westinghouse plant. No recordings of that broadcast but original announcer Leah Rosenberg made this recreation.
