Professor Ben Ratway is an associate professor at the University of Canberra where he teaches exercise physiology. He earned his doctoral degree in 2009 where he was working on the mitochondria and since then he shifted his focus towards understanding the interactions between human movement and the brain seeking to optimize health and performance. His work has been applied in a range of contexts including the military, corporate, health and high performance settings. Today we discuss Ben's research and the application for all of us who want to improve our overall brain health and cognitive performance.
