Orangutings - A Critical Approach to Animal Ethics

We were really deeply concerned about what's called the Six Mass Extinction, for example. We thought that given our anthropogenic activities across the globe were really plunging the planet into a devastating crisis. And so part of what we try to do in the book is think through these distortions to try to reveal them and unpack them. It became clear to us both that it would be more meaningful to write a short urgent plea to radically rethink animal ethics with regard to the philosophical field but also with realization within social protest movements.
