The Most Important Thing About China Is Strong Deterrence
I think the most important thing about China is deterrence and piercing the veil of optimism. Putin clearly thought he could invade Ukraine because he was optimistic he was going to win. The likely trigger of war with China is their optimism that they can pull something off. And I fear that's what the right wing populists want now more than ever. But yeah, it would seem to me that getting the right technology and weapons systems to Taiwan, as soon as possible should be a priority.
