Working Memory Is the Bread and Butter of Cognition
Working memory is that few seconds where you're holding it. I like to think of it as the brain's ram, right? It's the memory that's never actually written to the hard drive. And if you can imagine this is really important in terms of tasks that require attention and just an everyday life. So obviously understanding the neural bases of this could really be useful.
