The economy was much more robust. Companies were able to protect their earnings and for a large part their margins. Perhaps it was just the raw amount of liquidity and stimulus that got introduced into the system that has protected us, but maybe we can get that soft landing. Do I think they will continue to be wrong? I probably would think not.
