How to Inoculate Grains With Mycelium
Small American mushroom growers are doing a great job growing nice fruiting bodies but some of the bigger companies for example host-defense they don't go all the way there. So then you have a bunch of not very optimized mycelium on a bunch of grains and then these grains are usually freeze dried because it's really hard to actually separate the mycelium from the grains if not impossible. This is quite commonly done. It's then very easy to inoculate grains with this mycelium and that's usually the next step.
