The Omega 6 to Omega 3 Ratio and Inflammation

When we consume seed oils which are high in linoleic acid this omega 6 fat like we talked about earlier it becomes incorporated in every cell in our body. When a fatty acid oxidizes it means it loses an electron and that electron floating around you know people have heard of antioxidants for example or free radicals these are words we throw around a lot but most folks couldn't tell you what they actually mean antioxidant combat oxidation. If there aren't enough antioxidants to combat all of the oxidation then we're left with free radicals and free radicals in that imbalance more free radicals leading to inflammation.
