The Role of Pattern Memory in Goal-Directed Processes

The homeostatic set point, which is the shape of a planarian. That's a geometric piece of information. And so that's a kind of pattern memory where you literally have to store roughly what does a correct planarian look like. When it's deviated from that goal with injury or with anything else, it does its darned us to get back to where it is. It's a goal-directed process. But no one's going to buy this unless you actually find where the pattern memory is. If you can find it, perhaps you can rewrite it.
