No editor we know has clamping and constraining mechanics at the same time with scaling and so much of these resize modes, is it even wanted? And codelessly was our motivation for that. We took a lot of inspiration from Figma - they're very simple free forms, mechanisms. There's no layout required. No rows and columns and grids or all that stuff. So Flutter had to come up with its own solution which made things significantly more complex than we expected.
