The Role of a Doula in a Successful Birth

A doula is a comfort person and somebody that makes you feel hopefully mentally and physically comfortable in a lot of different ways. One of the things that they like to do is help me make informed choices. So there are so many different decisions to make when it comes to having a baby. To have someone there that's an advocate for me that gives me all the options for each step is really important for me. And then together with your practitioner, you know, making sure that your voice is heard and that you're supported in the choices that you want to make.
