i think our conscious what we can tell people about is rather inaccurate and malleable. And i certainly noticed with my children that they very rapidly get on to the idea that, you see, i did it, it was at an accidentt You learnd that very quickly. We learn to feel that we have free will, and that this is actually very important for social cohesion. So in these economic type experiments, i am sure you know, you get people to called free riders who appear, which destroys the cohesion.
