Shug shopped around for more talent. He put together a group called the dog pound, and he signed a former gospel singer who 'd appeared on snoop's earliest demo tapes,. Shug even tried to poach the wootang clan from their label. But the wrappers shug wanted most of all was tupa. In 19 93, he'd given tupa 200 thousand dollars to contribute a song to a movie sound tract. Even so, tupa continued putting out his albums on aeroscope, a label that was partly owned by tom warner.
