The modern study of lucid dreaming begins on April 12, 1975 at the University of Hall in England. Alan Worsley was the test subject being monitored by Keith Hearn. They had an experiment in which they would try to figure out whether you could be conscious while you were dreaming. You see, your body does certain things when it goes into a sleep mode.
