The Dishonesty of Giving Money to a Religious Organization
The connection between I'm buying this for someone else and then that ticket actually reaching someone else is the part that's the fuzziest to me. Half the money is going into the pocket of the studio, which is then going into the pockets of these executives. You're basically giving money to a cause you believe in and ignoring the fact that there probably are a couple of people who are getting very rich off of that.
