Anthony Porter and the Cobra Stones Gang

William Taylor says he saw Anthony Porter shoot Hillard twice and then run down the bleachers to flee the scene. Williams tells police that he knows Porter as he's seen him around the neighborhood nearly every day for the last year and a half. On October 6th, 1980, this is less than two years earlier, Anthony Porter had pled guilty to bail jumping relating to a previous criminal violation. And significantly, he'd pled guilty to beating and robbing a man named Douglas McGee on the bleachers next to the outdoor pool in the Washington Park.
