Author Ai-jen Poo was surprised by the topic of queer ducks and other animals. 15 hundred species in counting that have significant peer researched same sex sexual behavior, according to a study three years ago. Why is this happening? We got the story of animal sex wrong - we think of it as procreation only humans. There's actually a wide range of animals with different reasons for having same sex sexual behaviors.
