The Reluctance to Participate in Sport
People claim they don't like the competitive elements of sport. They feel that they can't do it, there's a kind of competency issue in that. People often say, and I'm not, sometimes this is more related to what women tell us than men. So put them into kind of small competitive situations, really simple ones. And then you get into a group and you see how many times you can do it against the other group. And it builds in the competition and people love it. But a lot of that is a kind of historic fear. Some bad experience they may have had in the past that becomes entrenched in the way that they think about it.
