Do What the Word Says

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the father of heavenly lights. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth so that we might be a kind of first fruits of all he created. Each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desires. And desire, when it is full grown, gives birth to sin. Sin, when it's full grown, giving birth to death. Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says."
