Alternative Lending

It's very hard to raise capital because a lot of the institutional investors are overcommitted, especially in the US from what we see as compared to some other parts of the world. So one of the challenges is while they may have cash, they're really thinking about the use of that cash. They're not able to issue new, unsecured debt. Really, it's not very competitive or it's very cost prohibitive to issue new shares. Loans are slower to pay off. A lot of the reach sector is bogged down by somewhat of a liquidity crunch at the moment in terms of where they're going to raise capital.
