The Economics of Retrofitting a Car
The company has raised more than 200 million dollars in funding. It's a process that takes weeks right now to retrofit cars, which is why they're partnering with auto manufacturers instead of doing it after the fact. "Retrofitting isn't a great market" because people just don't spend that much on cars after they buy them for things that aren't maintenance," says COO and co-founder John Sutter.
