Is There a Moral Standard?

Under the dominant prece maximizing our impact on nature is bad, irrespective of whether it makes our life better or worse. So even other forms of energy, like nuclear or hydro electric energy are also to be evaluated as negative. I wouldn't use the word prism, because that has the connotation that a moral standard is inherently like a distorting mechanism. We can only know the way reality is as filtered by somedistorting mechanism. And what i would want to emphasize is the it's true that we we evaluate things according to this moral standard, but we can judge whether that moral standard, it f is true based on the facts of reality.
