Jesus said, “If ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:15). The problem is that people sometimes hurt us deeply, and forgiving them is difficult, especially when the offender never apologizes or even acknowledges the wrong.

Dr. David K. Bernard explores what the Scriptures say about forgiveness and how we can apply its teaching to our lives, including in cases of severe mistreatment and abuse.
