The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil
In Genesis 2 he gives them the trees of the garden to partake and he did not deny them the tree of life. So as far as we can see in the text there's no reason they couldn't have been partaking of it. This descriptor also should be seen in light of later Old Testament passages. To know good and evil is to have wisdom.
