How Do Super Recognisers Recognize Faces?

A recent study has revealed that there are people who can recognize any face they've seen before. They're called super recognizers and make up just less than 2% of the population. Super recognizers look at a new face, even for a second, then store each part in the brain as composite images. How did they figure out that the super recognizers could do this?
