The Evolution of the Residuals Model

In years past, the network residual model was such that if your show went into syndication, like Seinfeld, for example, you were getting a portion of those profits. But now that we've moved to streaming, what has happened is there are so many streaming sites and there are soMany shows. Some people will sometimes get a negative amount because of an accounting error. So not only do you not know how much you're being screwed out or because you don't know how many people are watching, they just arbitrarily pick these numbers from the sky.
