The Volatility of Treasuries Is So Great That It's Destabilizing Equity Valuations
I did not forecast a Silicon Bank issue, but I did have a view that we were heading to a crisis of some kind and we've seen it. The volatility of bonds is so great that that's destabilizing the equities. In 2017, we had $20 trillion of national debt. And today, we're not going to do $32 trillion five years later,. Because the growth rate and debt in excess of the growth rate of the economy will create issues.
